When you have less than 1000 connections and if you decide to manually handle the database it may be possible. But if you are having 5000 connections or more which you have collected over the years it would be humanly impossible to dig into the connections and go through them individually while being inside LinkedIn.
LinkedIn has given a feature to export all your connections to an excel file. Check the following steps.
- Click on my network tab
- Click on Connections on the top left
- Click on Manage synced and imported contacts on the top right
- Click Export connections
- Click on Connections
- Click Request Archive and Enter Password
- You will get an email from LinkedIn in 10 to 15 minutes time - Click Download
- Download archive and open in MS Excel

Exported data will look like below in Excel

What can you do with the exported data?
You will find that unlike good old days the email column is almost empty. GDPR regulations and usersโ privacy data settings do not allow us to download email addresses. However, now you have a gold mine and you can decide how to use it. Use it to build relationships than to spam them with pushy messages.
How about all the messages from day one?
Among other things you can download all the messages, you have exchanged with your connections from day one. You may check how effectively you have had conversations and have handled your prospects over the years.

You may export other data, experiment yourself, and let us know your findings.
